Collaborate around healthcare and guidance

Care, treatment and guidance can be more effective when people also have a safe place to practise what is being discussed. ASK-Solutions can work with clinicians, care providers, coaches, youth professionals and support organisations where practical activity, technical understanding or digital self-reliance can complement their own professional role.

ASK-Solutions is not a healthcare provider and does not take over diagnosis, treatment, crisis policy or clinical responsibility. Cooperation must preserve those boundaries rather than blur them.

Different forms of cooperation

A healthcare or guidance organisation may work with ASK-Solutions around:

Practical activity alongside treatment or guidance

For some people, advice and conversation do not yet translate into daily action. A contained practical task can make rhythm, concentration, boundaries, stimulus regulation and communication visible in a different way.

A practical route may support someone in:

These observations are practical, not diagnostic. Where agreed with the participant, useful feedback can concern attendance, pace, capacity, appointments, cooperation and responses to change or stress.

Roles remain clear

The responsible clinician or professional remains leading for treatment, diagnosis, crisis arrangements and other formal guidance. ASK-Solutions or the relevant local operator is responsible only for the agreed practical activity and its own environment.

Before a route starts, we discuss:

Privacy and sensitive information

Health information requires particular care. A first collaboration message should not contain detailed medical records. We prefer to begin with the practical question, the roles involved and the minimum information needed to determine whether further discussion is appropriate.

When information must be shared, we agree on purpose, consent, access and retention. Participants should understand what is recorded and what may be reported back. ASK-Solutions does not produce medical or psychological reports.

Safety and limits

Practical environments within our work are not crisis care, intensive psychiatric care or personal care. A route is generally not suitable where acute instability, active substance use on site, structurally uncontrolled aggression or a need for continuous one-to-one care makes the environment unsafe.

Small scale can be a strength, but it also means that current staffing, capacity and the characteristics of a location matter. A general description cannot promise that every local environment can support every person or route.

The Owl’s Nest fit-check

The current professional fit-check on The Owl’s Nest website is specifically intended for a possible practical route through a location within The Owl’s Nest. It explains what that environment is and is not, and it should be read together with the current local information.

Questions about broader technical, educational or organisational cooperation with ASK-Solutions do not need to pass through that fit-check.

Practical collaboration through The Owl’s Nest

A healthcare or guidance organisation can refer someone to a suitable location of The Owl’s Nest, but collaboration does not have to end with the referral. Professionals can remain involved, coordinate with the local operator and, where appropriate, provide guidance or support within the practical environment while retaining responsibility for their own professional role.

The organisation may also contribute knowledge, staff capacity or experience to activities and participation routes offered through a location. The exact division of responsibilities, communication and support should be agreed in advance between the participant, the professional organisation and the responsible local operator.

Where an existing location does not fit the local need, a healthcare or guidance organisation can also be involved in exploring or developing a new local implementation of The Owl’s Nest. This may form part of a wider partnership with a school, community organisation, municipality or another responsible operator.
