JobsOn this page, we publish job openings, board roles and other formal opportunities to contribute to ASK-Solutions. These are roles connected to our work around free software, free hardware, repair, documentation, technical education, privacy, digital autonomy, The Owl’s Nest and other public-benefit projects.
At the moment, we have no open employee positions and no open board positions. If that changes, we will publish the full information on this page: what the role involves, what time commitment we expect, which responsibilities are part of it and how to respond.
Not every form of involvement starts as a job or board position. People can also contribute through a project, practical task, workshop, documentation, repair work, software, hardware, research, translation or occasional volunteering.
If you want to contribute, a concrete project or activity is usually a better starting point than a general application. Tell us what you can do, what you would like to learn, how much time you realistically have, and whether you are looking for paid work, volunteering, an internship, a board role or cooperation around a specific project.
You may send an open application. Please include a short motivation, relevant experience, your availability and the kind of role or tasks you are looking for. We only treat an open application as an application when there is a realistic role or task to discuss.
When we receive an application, we check whether there is a realistic match with the current work, available capacity and responsibilities. If there is, we will contact you. If there is not, we may delete your application or, if there is a clear reason to do so, keep it temporarily for later contact.
If you want us to remove your details, you can ask us to do so at any time.
