Collaborate with companies and employers

Companies and employers can work with ASK-Solutions in several ways: around people, technical knowledge, public-benefit projects, equipment, open technology or long-term ownership of the systems and objects they depend on.

ASK-Solutions is one public-benefit organisation whose technical, educational and social work is connected. A paid agreement, project contribution or material donation can be part of that work without turning the underlying activity into a separate commercial mission.

Possible forms of cooperation

Sustainable employability and return to work

For an employee dealing with stress, overload or a difficult return to work, another conversation is not always enough. A practical environment can help make rhythm, concentration, boundaries and capacity visible without immediately recreating the pressure of the workplace.

Where an appropriate location within The Owl’s Nest is available, practical activity may complement the work of an occupational physician, case manager, employer or clinician. ASK-Solutions does not replace those roles and does not provide medical reporting. Practical feedback can concern attendance, pace, capacity, agreements, cooperation and responses to change or stress.

This route is particularly relevant when someone benefits from work that is concrete and has a clear beginning and end. It is not limited to people with technical experience; the task should fit the person rather than test whether they are already “handy”.

Technical and digital self-reliance

Organisations can become dependent on suppliers, platforms or individual staff members without noticing until access, knowledge or support disappears. ASK-Solutions can help examine:

The aim is greater understanding and control, not replacing one dependency with another.

Specialised routes into technical work

ASK-Media-Solutions, ASK-ICT-Solutions and ASK-Technology-Solutions provide focused public routes to particular areas of ASK-Solutions’ work. They cover subjects such as digital publication, systems and data, free software, electronics and technical development.

Together, these areas form part of the wider public-benefit, technical, educational and social work of ASK-Solutions. The specialised names help visitors find relevant information, while ASK-Solutions remains the organisation responsible for the activities and their connection to the broader mission.

Equipment, materials and facilities

Useful equipment and materials can create more public value through continued use than through disposal. We may be interested in:

Not every donation is suitable. Storage, safety, condition, transport and realistic use must be considered before acceptance.

Transparency and influence

Funding or sponsorship does not give a company control over our editorial positions, public-interest conclusions or treatment of competing technologies. Where a publication or project involves a sponsor, partner or commercial relationship, we disclose that relationship where relevant.

Agreements about branding, acknowledgement, confidentiality, intellectual work and publication should be explicit before a project starts.
