ASK-Solutions

As a foundation we have been active in Haarlem-Noord for many years: online with our services and projects, and visibly in the neighbourhood through our community workshop The Owl's Nest. More and more neighbours and customers find their way to us with questions about technology, repair, digital freedom or simply for a cup of coffee and a conversation. We value this greatly.

A place to learn, repair and create

In The Owl's Nest we are gradually building an accessible workshop where people can learn, repair and create. Whether it is a small making project, extending the life of a device, or figuring out a technical question together, our goal is to make knowledge and tools as accessible as possible.

This year again we have seen how important a strong and resilient community is. We see it in the short conversations at the door, the interest in the workshop, the assignments and questions that reach ASK-Solutions, and in the willingness of people to share their time and expertise. Without this involvement our foundation would not be able to do what it does.

Thanks to our community

We would like to thank three groups in particular:

• Neighbours in Haarlem-Noord – for your trust, your friendly reactions when we meet in the neighbourhood, and your interest in The Owl's Nest as a low-threshold place to drop by.
• Customers and clients of ASK-Solutions – for your long-term cooperation around hosting, ICT services and other projects. Your choice for a foundation with a social mission makes our work possible.
• Volunteers, partners and supporters – for your time, expertise, materials and moral support. Thanks to you we can continue working on making technology, repair and digital freedom more accessible.

Looking ahead to 2026

In the new year we want to continue along this path. We are working on expanding the activities in The Owl's Nest, further improving our online documentation and services, and strengthening the connection with the neighbourhood and our customers. Wherever possible we will keep collaborating with partners who share our vision of a resilient and more self-reliant community.
