Editorial Policy

ASK-Solutions publishes technical and civic articles on right-to-repair, ownership, privacy, and practical how-to topics, with a focus on practical impact and long-term digital and consumer rights. We document repair workflows, software and hardware configuration guides, and workshop projects in a way that others can reproduce and verify, and we also publish analysis and commentary on policy developments that affect the ability of individuals, schools, and communities to maintain and own the tools they depend on. Our goal is to provide actionable guidance for makers and operators, alongside clear and well-sourced context for the public, so that technical decisions and policy discussions can be approached with facts, transparency, and a pragmatic mindset.

Authorship and safety

To respect the privacy of our contributors and to help prevent unwanted attention, individual author names are not displayed on this website. Articles are published under the responsibility of the ASK-Solutions editorial team, and we remain fully accountable for the content we share. We are proud of the authors and reviewers who contribute their time and expertise to this project, and we aim to protect their ability to keep doing that work safely and sustainably.
